Pneumatic Actuator-Series: AD - AS
Automa pneumatic quarter turn actuator is available in double acting and spring return configurations. The design of Scotch Yoke is intended for use with quarter-turn valves need to be controlled, requiring high torque and where a compact actuator design is needed. The Scotch Yoke principle is characterized by its high torque when required - at the beginning and end of each operation. This increase safety, especially in applications where a valve remain stationary throughout long periods. The design is compact and using about 30% less air than rack and pinion actuators
